When a course is redesigned, AP offers a variety of materials and training to support educators in revising their curriculum. There are resources available online, such as guides for planning and pacing and developing a syllabus, as well as face-to-face AP workshops and AP Summer Institutes that focus on training educators to teach the redesigned course.
If you plan to attend an AP Summer Institute (APSI), I urge you to learn about the College Board’s AP Fellows Program. This initiative, which is part of promoting access to AP for all prepared students, grants $1,000 to selected teachers who work in schools that serve economically disadvantaged or underrepresented minority students. Watch for emails describing other scholarship opportunities as they become available.
